Time can get away from you. Do you ever feel like your life is happening all at once? I need to stop the clock for a few hours and catch up with myself. I'm ticking too fast to hear my tock. TIME OUT!
Cool pic, Oma. And yes, definitely time is flying by! Sometimes it seems you want it to, and then other times you just can't hold onto the good things long enough. I think time is a bittersweet element of our lives.
My Dad always had a Hamilton watch in his vest pocket. He loved the time and was fanatical about having the correct time to the SECOND.
It was a very big deal when Daylight Savings Time would come in in April or go out in October.
Dad would stop his watch at 7:45 A.M.on Sunday before Mass (Dad always waited till morning) and turn on the radio to the Naval Observatory in Washington and when the announcer said that it was 8 A.M. he would push the stem back in and the old Hamilton would spring to life with the absolutely correct time.....
He loved that watch and now my son,Jerry, has it on his mantlepiece at his home in Connecticut....

I feel like time has already flown and I missed the plane!
