wow. i really love reading this York description. i feel like it's all coming back to me! thanks for putting it down! those photos are irreplaceable. me and my mini fridge.. i remember a few things too: the pinafore dresses, my itchy pig sweater that squeaked, the smell of chocolate in the air, the hill of daffodils, the pantomime, and the dinner dance at the church.thanks for bringing back happy memories!
I love reading your "memoir"... seriously, I am ready to pack up and move some place new and interesting (for a relatively short time).
I am really enjoying these. Thank you!
Marty....this was GREAT fun. And the pictures.....I especially love the one of your whole family....what a handsome bunch you were...and still are.
Thanks for taking us along on your trip to York. The description make me feel like I'm there with you, however, I'm not sorry I missed the cold winter nights.
What a wonderful story. I can't wait for the next installment. I would love to move to England for a year or ten.
