Following Along

Third Man

"My father didn't tell me how to live;
he lived, and let me watch him do it."
---Clarence Budington Kelland

Ten things my dad taught by example:
  1. Love your spouse.
  2. Include your kids.
  3. Sing.
  4. Remember old friends.
  5. Dream big.
  6. Pray.
  7. Honor your parents.
  8. Work hard.
  9. Believe in yourself.
  10. Have fun!

(I'm just counting my blessings.)

What have you learned from a good example?

What a great picture of your dad! I loved him, in spite of his constant teasing. He was so great.

I'm going to print the quote - and hang it on the wall for my dad at the nursing home. He will greatly enjoy it!
Thanks!

My mom taught me to have guests over for Sunday dinner. Especially people you like or are curious about.
