Waiting for Opportunity

Lazy
lazy
lazy
lazy
lazy
lazy
Jane,
she
wants
a
drink
of
water
so
she
waits
and
waits
and
waits
and
waits
and
waits
for
it
to
rain.

From Where the Sidewalk Ends
by
Shel Silverstein

Opportunity rarely drops out of the sky.
It strolls by wearing a disguise.
It's up to us to recognize it, catch up with it, follow it and tackle it.

What opportunity are you waiting for?

I'm waiting for the opportunity to relax. I actually try to achieve said goal, until someone comes in needing something. Such is life!

I always loved this poem as a kid, I still love it but for different reasons now.

To work with preschoolers again! I am working on my Montessori certificate and for my children to grow a bit older. For now, my job is to be with them.
