Thanks for the tip about my chimeny sweep photo! As it turns out he wasn't a chimney sweep, but that search led me to ... wandergeselle (traveling carpenter's). In this day and age, it's a real thing! Wow. I am absolutely fascinated by the idea. Thank you so much for the lead. -Val from Navigon Take Me Home
i loved what you said at women's conference a few years ago - blogging and keeping in touch with families - that's kind of religiony. and, i agree with Gabi, start shopping.
In this, my year of austerity, I can't afford to attend the conference - too bad, I was really looking forward to it. Another time, perhaps.
The whole religion thing is something I deal with on my blog - my family, none of whom are LDS, read my blog to keep up on me and my family. It shades how I write some things. Not that that's a bad thing, necessarily, just something I have to watch for. I feel like you've done a great job with how you have presented your religion on your blog.

I'm sure whatever you say will be great. C'mon, it's all about the outfit. What are you wearing?

I think you will be fine. You have always been tactful on your blog on sensitive topics.
Dang it! I got so excited! Then I saw the prices. Then the excitment was replaced with sadness. :(
