I'm wearing a new hat!
Remember last week when I told you about callings? Well, I got a new one—I'm the brand-new Relief Society president in our brand-new ward! I'm excited and overwhelmed and I've got a ton of stuff to learn, so I'll be back in a week or so. Wish me luck!
You will be terrific in this calling.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! That's my calling right now too. It's the best way to get to know the sisters in your ward, and have an instant love for them. My advice: your compassionate service person and visiting teaching coordinator are essential helps. The right people in those callings will save you hours of time and greatly ease your burdens.
ReplyDeleteYay that is so exciting!! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteyou'll be a great RSPrez. The ward is lucky to have you there.
ReplyDeleteOf all my favorite blogs yours was the one I could count on to have something new to read almost every day. I'll miss you. You'll be great!
ReplyDeleteOne thing I know of for certain sure: You are going to be the all-time, best-ever, RS President, hands-down. Congratulations to your wonderful ward, and many happy smiles to your very smart and grateful bishop. And Dee is going to like you even more, if that's possible. Grins.
ReplyDeleteYou will be so great!! Just don't give up on blogging like another RS president we both know...
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful. You will be fantastic--just like everything else you do. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteyou'll do great...have fun...

ReplyDeletePretty exciting! Can't wait to hear more about it. You have new things to blog about.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I can't imagine a job that you couldn't do, so I know you'll be a great success. (Love the hat picture!)
