I have to admit that I'm glad my kids are now on their own if they want to dress up for Halloween. I'm a creative type person, but really disliked having to come up with a costumes every year. So, unfortunately, I'm no help in this department.
After making McCall's(?) ET mask (took hours--made my son wear a robe and carry a can of pop for the rest of the costume), I swore off costume making. My kids were surprisingly creative. Now I'm back to sewing. Got roped into making Rapunzel. I think every sewing grandmother is making at least one Rapunzel dress this year. I would love to dress up as a zombie for our ward party. My Primary kids would love it, but probably not the younger brothers and sisters.

As creative as I am, I fall flat when trying to come up with Halloween costumes.
