Have You Ever Felt Like This?

Chloƫ

She's eight. Her blog is one of my daily reads, and I think I'm her one daily reader. A recent post said:

Hi. Here's a little weather report. It just rained so outside is wet. And it's also a titch windy. I have NO idea how many degrees it is, so, there's the weather report for you.

You can see why I'm a fan. I was gone for a few days and didn't attend to my commenting duties. When I got home I had an email waiting, all in caps, decorated with blinking frowny faces:

"IS ANYBODY EVEN READING MY BLOG?????????"

(It's so awesome to be missed.)

  1. How adorable! I suppose then, you also go by the moniker "anybody?"

  2. This made me laugh out loud!

And made me want to thank you for reading my blog. I loved your school and read every post. Next year I'll be a better student. xoxo, m

  5. I know how she feels...

We miss you when you aren't there also. I remember during class when you forgot to hit send on one of the lessons - we all thought something terrible had happened to you or one of your family. What a relief to find out all was well.

  6. Just think - at least Chloe will notice if you ever drop off a cliff somewhere!

    Please don't.

But if you do, she'll let the rest of us know.

  8. That is hilarious. But I feel her pain. Sometimes I will have a faithful commenter drop off out of nowhere and never come back. I always wonder if I have offended somehow.

  9. By the way, I love your LaMont Hunt story. That brought back memories both of being terrible in Sunday school and of people from my past who have changed my life.

  11. I always feel like that. People tell me they read, but sometimes it feels like I'm talking to a wall.
I'm glad you missed me enough to come find me. I missed you too!
