when you can't take any more of what you've been taking."

While you're here, check out my blog's new accessories: new pictures on the wall, new quotes on the shelves, new ideas in the mill. It's my version of spring cleaning. I offered refreshments earlier, (sorry you didn't get here in time) but you're very welcome to walk through Travelin'Oma's open house, anyway.

When you just need a change of scenery, you stay home and redecorate!
Or you visit Open Houses.
I'm receiving guests here at TravelinOma's and I'm dying to meet you all.

I love the new look and your limeade is refreshing. I also had some cookies. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou have a retro fashion blog.
I visit you almost every day, just to see what great things you're doing. I wish I'd made better choices so I could be writing the kinds of wonderful things you are to share with everyone. Ah, yes, regrets abound, but I enjoy visiting your world.
ReplyDeleteYou are an inspiration. I love your reflections as well as the challenges. Your Oma storybook is a wonderful idea and great legacy. I'm glad I happened to travel by your blog - now I stop by regularly.
ReplyDeleteLookin' great!!!!! Been trying to get time to get mine all gussied up, too. Hopefully, it will happen soon.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that picture of you from way back when. I'll eat my own refreshments here since you didn't save me any...I'm a trooper that way.
ReplyDeleteGeez, Mom! This looks like it took hours! (wink, wink, giggle) You always were the makeover queen!
ReplyDeleteI honestly can't remember how I got here....but I'm glad I did! I love your idea of creating story books about your life for your grandkids.
ReplyDeleteI love the new pictures and the way you've tied it all together with your words! It's perfect! Thanks for the invite for refreshments..it was just the thing I needed!
ReplyDeleteOoh, it's all so lovely. Thanks for the invite!
ReplyDeleteI love what you've done with the place - it looks very chic!
ReplyDeleteI, too, wish I was as creative as you (and heck, let's just admit it, as well traveled as you!), but I'm still working on it. You are an inspiration and I'm glad I crossed paths with your wisdom (via my sis-in-law, Tina).
Thanks for all the great ideas, quotes and travel helps!
Beautiful! Inspiring! Insightful! Just like you in person!
ReplyDeleteI was at your class at women's conference, and you taught me what a blog is! I have loved stopping by here ever since. Thanks for the inspiration! Some day I'll get brave enough to try my own.
ReplyDeleteEverything you write makes me wish I was more. More genteel, more patient, more fun, more appreciative, more, more, I want to be more!
ReplyDeleteGood thing there are people like you in the world who inspire people like me.
Hey Marty,
ReplyDeleteI get around to reading your blog on occasion and it fills me in on what your spread out family is up to. I am amazed at all the great graphics you come up with and your gift of gab. Keep it up. I tried the blog thing a couple of times but every time I try to update it I get to many ideas running through my head. I am the one line face book type of guy. I do have thousands of pictures I would like to share and talk about some day.
I love the new sidebar, especially the gorgeous picture of our tour guide! Thanks for the mad writing skills that you share with your readers. Your questions are thought provoking and your stories are inspirational.
