Baldwin's Book Barn, West Chester, PA

A five story barn built in 1822 sits on a winding road about thirty minutes from downtown Philadelphia.

There are twists and turns, and little hidden rooms,
all filled with books.

I sat in this hallway for a while before I climbed a staircase (that was more like a ladder) to get to the next level. A cat lounged on a braided rug, by a pot-belly stove in the front room.
What a heavenly place to live!
