Just a Kid

I was a young mother, and Amy was about three when she asked, "Did you learn to be a mom in college?"

"No," I said. "I'm just learning it now."

"Well, don't worry about it. You're still young."

  1. Love that! I sometimes wish there was a course you could take {or make others take!} on how to be a mommy. The trial and error can get frustrating at times. At least kids are truly forgiving of our flaws and love us unconditionally in spite of them. :0)

  2. I'm so glad you wrote down all the cute things your kids said when they were growing up. What a treasure!

  3. What about those of us who were still having babies when we were old? Still making mistakes, shouldn't we have learned when we were young?
