Burglars Without Taste

I got burgled last night!

Someone broke into my car, and took my CD player and radio. They rummaged through my large CD collection, but they didn't take a single one! Should I be mad, or insulted???

  1. I would guess that your burglers were not 50-something Oma's that love folk music. Don't be insulted. Be glad someone just like you is not out robbing cars! I'd be more worried if they took the entire collection and left all your stereo equipment behind.

  2. They just didn't know what a gold mine they had at their fingers....The Mamas and the Papas? John Denver? Cretins!

  5. Consider them Philistines with no appreciation for the finer things in life! Funny story: My daughter was watching the induction of the Mamas and the Papas into the Rock Hall of Fame and came stomping into the living room & started going thru the vinyl. I asked what was up and she growled, "They let Michelle sing Mama Cass' part! I want to hear the REAL thing!" Did I raise her right or not? lol

  6. That is just so disturbing... seriously, I hate it when someone just walks off with things that don't belong to them... I'm so glad they weren't smart enough to take the CD's!!! Of course, you always have access to the still around "mama kas"! Keep on rocking and rolling like always....

  9. Thanks for the visit and the compliment, Marty. I have been working in my home since 1982. The workshop is the 2-car garage and the office is the room above it.

  10. we had someone break into our car at the T station in Boston. They left the Mormon Tabernacle Choir CD on the passenger seat. Hmmmm. wonder why?

  11. I chuckled when I read this, thinking of the time that someone took a group of CDs out of my daughter's car, no doubt thinking they were getting the latest rock/heavy metal stuff since it was obviously a student's car....Image the surprise they got when the CDs were all opera, classical and musical theatre!

Sorry about your mishap....glad your music survived!!

  12. Sorry to hear you were burgled, but I am glad they didn't take you music. Some of that stuff is hard to find! My husband and I had our apartment robbed around 13 or 14 years ago. Those creeps stole ALL our music, and nothing else!!! We are STILL missing things.
