And then I got to thinking, "Hey..I want them to know the real ME and this is who I am!" That "light bulb moment" truly liberated me. Now I won't touch the Delete Entry button unless I'm feeling it might hurt a person friend/family member's feelings...then I'm quick to zap it. I thought you made excellent points in that entry, Marty.MissKrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12726021829363492972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2529969472454786525.post-19788507507798548982007-06-11T08:07:00.000-06:002007-06-11T08:07:00.000-06:00Nuts Marty, you did NOT sound like a spoiled brat,...Nuts Marty, you did NOT sound like a spoiled brat, just the ordinary reaction of someone who occasionally feels like their life's work is not appreciated.

Stand your ground girl!!Bevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07458851510738234247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2529969472454786525.post-22581754592087587682007-06-10T19:38:00.000-06:002007-06-10T19:38:00.000-06:00I keep saying I'll visit your blog - to prove you ...I keep saying I'll visit your blog - to prove you have 'international readership', but I'm still trying to figure out the whole blog thing. Is it a club? Is it escapism into some new virtual existence? Or is it a way of defining reality by sharing it with someone (no matter who)?
Is it the perfect friend for a compulsive letter writer? You no longer have to await a reply for an excuse to throw another brain full of ideas onto paper.
Is it the ultimate freedom of self expression? (with the inevitable consequence of occasionally feeling dumb when someone holds up the mirror)
Back to reality...I was just out on the porch watching Ethan chase fireflies. I hope you're out with your grandkids doing the same.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2529969472454786525.post-45436237270015941022007-06-10T08:06:00.000-06:002007-06-10T08:06:00.000-06:00Nooooooooo Marty!!!!!!! (it was all just a misunderstanding of the definition of "work" anyway) I don't think a lot of stay-at-home moms get the appreciation they deserve; I can see already that raising a family is a lot of hard work! but you are very lucky that you have never had to hold down a job while doing the other things you love. maybe one day I can live the dream too...anna johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11664659764653883122noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2529969472454786525.post-48077068200218628662007-06-09T14:23:00.000-06:002007-06-09T14:23:00.000-06:00I feel dumb about something nearly every day - and...I feel dumb about something nearly every day - and I'm sure we all do.
